Details– Belted Coat | Turtleneck Sweater | High Waisted Pants | Knit Beanie
Oh boy, is it cold outside! Winters in New England can be long and at times brutal. I owned one coat when I moved to Massachusetts for the first time over 10 years ago. My closet is currently full of many types of coats, ranging from casual and fun, dressy and chic, to thick and practical. I am sharing my favorite winter coat that was worth the investment.
This teddy coat that I got on sale several months ago is one of my favorite winter coats. The oversized fit allows enough room, without it feeling snug, for a sweater or hoodie underneath. The long relaxed fit makes it easy to layer over a great pair of jeans. I paired this with an oversized turtle sweater, my favorite knit-fabric pants, and a knit beanie.
Below are some of my other favorite winter coat currently in closet.

- Bell Teddy Lined Coat This cozy faux-suede coat has a semi-relaxed fit that makes it easy to layer over a great pair of jeans.
- L.L. Bean Women’s Ultawarm Coat A snap closure over the two-way zipper adds extra weather protection and will keep you warm and dry throughout the cold winter months.
- Soft-Brushed Tie-Belt Overcoat This old Navy classy coat with a fitting tie belt hits right below the knee and has vertical pockets at the hips for a chic look.
- Teddy Bear Fleece Oversized-Fit Lapel Coat This warm, fashionable, and reasonably priced teddy fleece is perfect for throwing over a hoodie or sweater!
